The Apex keyboard combines sleek shapes and low-profile keys, thus offering not only a stylish design but also functionality.
IGNITE.
Choose from 8 lighting modes and 16.8 million colors to illuminate 5 different keyboard zones for each macro level.
ADVANCED ANTI-GHOSTING.
SteelSeries Apex keyboards are equipped with an Anti-Ghosting system for the 20 most commonly used keys during gaming. This system allows you to simultaneously press up to 6 of these 20 keys.
SteelSeries selected the 20 most commonly used keys in games for Anti-Ghosting:
- 1, 2, 3, 4, 5,
- Q, W, E, R, A, S, D, F,
- Left Ctrl,
- Left Shift,
- Spacebar,
- 4 arrow keys.
WASD LOCATION.
Small bumps on the W key help you quickly locate the WASD keys. When you need to take a break to write a message or execute a command, you should be able to quickly return to the WASD keys to continue gameplay.
RAISED MACRO KEYS.
Raised macro keys are located above the F-keys, making them easier to use during intensive gameplay.
ACTIVEZONE LIGHTING.
The Apex keyboard consists of five separate zones that can be illuminated with 16.8 million different colors. This allows you to set a unique color scheme for each of the four macro levels. This way, it's easier to determine which macro level is currently active. For example, you can set a yellow theme for resource gathering, blue for defensive actions, or red for attacks. The possibilities are limitless.
ADDITIONAL ARROW KEYS.
Two additional arrow keys have been added for more convenient navigation.
88 VICTORIOUS COMBINATIONS.
The Apex keyboard features 22 macro keys, each with 4 levels, allowing you to program 88 different macros. Naturally, you can program other keys as well. In total, you get 504 programmable keys.
WINDOWS KEY DEACTIVATION.
To deactivate the Windows key, you need to hold the SteelSeries key and press the Windows key. This simple key combination allows you to accomplish this task without using additional software.
MEDIA KEYS.
Media keys provide direct access to media function settings.
SWITCHING BETWEEN LEVELS.
In the top left corner of the keyboard, there are four keys that allow you to quickly switch between macro key levels.
