The 2.5" ADATA DASH Drive Durable HD720 external hard drive is encased in a multi-layered enclosure consisting of a soft silicone shell, a hard plastic enhancer, and dampers. Combined with sealed gaskets, this allows the drive to exceed military standards MIL-STD-810G – it remains functional after two hours of being submerged in water and can withstand drops onto hard surfaces from heights of up to 1.8 meters.

MAXIMUM SAFETY
The main threat to the protected drive is impact during data reading, which can damage internal components. The DASH Drive is protected from such impacts as well – a built-in accelerometer automatically stops the spindle rotation in such cases and emits a warning signal.

HIGH DATA TRANSFER SPEED
The drive uses a USB 3.0 interface, which provides 10 times the bandwidth compared to the previous generation port. In addition, it supplies enough current with sufficient power for the hard drive to operate without an external power source.

MULTIFUNCTIONALITY
The manufacturer offers useful applications that help set up automatic data backup, protect data from unauthorized access, and create a boot disk image on the external hard drive.
