Thanks to powerful antennas, the RT-AC51U wireless module has a 150% increased coverage radius compared to regular routers.
Support for dual-frequency bands for wireless networks.
With the ability to operate simultaneously in two frequency bands (2.4 and 5 GHz) at speeds of 300 Mbps and 433 Mbps, respectively, the RT-AC51U provides a total wireless data transfer rate of 733 Mbps.
Support for peripheral devices.
Thanks to the USB port, the RT-AC51U router allows connecting a printer or an external hard drive, accessible to all users on the local network.
ASUSWRT user interface.
The convenient interface and special setup "wizards" facilitate configuring the RT-AC51U according to the user's needs. Even novices can easily set up an internet connection or a network printer.
The Quality of Service (QoS) feature implemented in the router allows users to specify the priority of internet bandwidth usage by different applications.
Setting up the RT-AC51U is an extremely easy and simple process, consisting of three steps and taking no more than a minute*. You just need to power on the router, connect the necessary cables to it, and open a web browser on any Wi-Fi-enabled device, such as a laptop or tablet.
ASUS AiCloud application.
The AiCloud application, available for free for Android devices and iOS-based devices, provides access to cloud storage with modern data security features and high-speed data exchange.
File downloading and streaming.
The built-in Download Master autonomous downloading system allows downloading files from the internet to a USB-connected external hard drive without using a computer. It also enables users to manage downloads and check their status remotely. Then, using the built-in media server, files from the external drive can be streamed to any compatible device, whether it be a computer, game console, or television.
VPN server.
For secure internet access, a VPN server can be launched using PPTP encryption.
