"Battery" is the term commonly used to refer to an autonomous power source for various devices. The most high-quality products are offered by well-known manufacturers: Duracell, Energizer, Panasonic, Varta, Maxell, GP, Sony, Seiko, Rayovac, Philips, Ansmann, Renata, Beston. Rechargeable batteries, which can be recharged using a charger, can be considered more convenient. According to the type of electrolyte, they are classified as follows: Salt (dry) — the cheapest and most mass-produced, with the lowest capacity; Heavy Duty; Alkaline — they endure low temperatures well and have an average cost; Mercury — with high energy capacity, but almost no longer produced due to the harmfulness of mercury; Silver, with high capacity and long shelf life. They are expensive; Lithium — the best option, enduring both high and low temperatures excellently.
