Smart-watch Huawei Watch GT 2 Classic Edition 42mm

The sports model from the Watch GT 2 series of smartwatches features a 42mm bezel. It is structurally different from the Sport version, which has a 46mm bezel, having received a more rounded shape. Additionally, the watch has a smaller display (1.2 inches versus 1.39 inches) and screen resolution (390x390 pixels versus 454x454 pixels). However, despite the lower resolution, the pixel density is higher (460 PPI versus 326 PPI). Logically, the dimensions also differ. The model with a 42mm bezel comes with black and gray straps. The bezel color, like in the 46mm version, is black. An important difference between the two models is the battery life, with all 42mm versions lasting half as long as the 46mm models (168 hours in normal mode versus 336 hours). The closest competitor is the Samsung Galaxy Watch 42mm model. The latter comes with Bluetooth v4.2, compared to v5.1 (in GT 2). Additionally, the Galaxy Watch 42mm has a lower display resolution and battery life. However, it features an NFC and Wi-Fi module, an ambient light sensor, and a Super AMOLED display (GT 2 has AMOLED). Overall, both models are very similar in functionality.
